The respirator is a lightweight filtering half mask with an exhalation valve equipped with two adjustable elastic headbands and obturator along the line of face contact; it is made of high-performance filtering material. The respirator is thermal-resistant, fire-resistive, keeps its protective and operation features in the wide range of temperatures. The "СПИРО-312А" / "SPIRO-312A" respirators are designed for protection of human respiratory organs against aerosols and at the same time against organic gases and vapors, with boiling temperature above 65 °С. The inner layer is made of hypoallergenic material creating more comfort during the extended use The respirator fits tightly to the face - nose clip easily takes the shape of the nose bridge. Suitable for any type of face. The special material sorbing the specified gaseous substances is used in the filtering half-mask "СПИРО-312А" / "SPIRO-312A" respirator. Protective action time (i.e. material saturation) depends on several factors, namely: concentration and chemical properties of harmful substances, air humidity, respiration rate, etc. The half-mask protection time determined during bench tests is at least 25 minutes for cyclohexane at 10 MACs. At that it is necessary to take into account specific production conditions since the specified parameters may significantly vary during one shift. Basing on the above mentioned, at real operation, the protective time of half-mask may be determined by the appearance of a harmful substance smell under the mask area.
