Membership in international organizations
International Irradiation Association (IIA)
IIA is a recognized IAEA NGO that has been an active promoter of the safe and beneficial use of irradiation technology for more than 50 years. The core purpose of the Association is to support its members in advancing the safe and beneficial use of irradiation. To achieve these goals, IIA intends to facilitate effective communication, education and representation. The Association's newsletter and website and the International Meeting on Radiation Processing (IMRP) are important support tools.
European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM)
EANM promotes the development of nuclear medicine throughout Europe and beyond. The Assosiation's purpose is to advance science and education in nuclear medicine, facilitate sharing of experience and ideas in the area of diagnostics, treatment and prevention of diseases through the use of unsealed radioactive substances and the properties of stable nuclides in medicine. EANM holds annual congresses and exhibitions attended by more than 100 companies from 22 countries, including all major isotope, radiopharmaceutical and advanced medical equipment manufacturers.
