ROSATOM presented isotope products at the International Conference in India
The delegation of ROSATOM including the representatives of Isotope - Regional Alliance JSC (a company of Rusatom Healthcare), and Rosatom South Asia took part in NICSTAR-2023, the 8th International Conference on Radioisotopes and Radiation Technologies. The conference organized by the National Association for Application of Radioisotopes and Radiation (NAARRI) was held in Kochi (India) from 9 to 12 January.
The conference brought together more than 100 experts from 15 countries, who represent leading industry companies, government departments, and international organizations. The business program was focused on the possibilities of using radioisotopes and radiation technologies to improve the quality of life and achieve sustainable development goals.
The global demand for isotope products is rising every year. Radioisotopes are widely used in nuclear medicine for the diagnosis and treatment of oncological, cardiological and other diseases, in industry, including for non-destructive testing, sterilization of food products, medical devices and materials, as well as in science. Isotope - Regional Alliance JSC, ROSATOM's official supplier of isotope products on the international market, currently supplies isotopes to more than 100 foreign companies in 50 countries, including India.
On the sidelines of the conference, the representatives of Isotope - Regional Alliance JSC, held a number of successful negotiations with Indian partners to develop cooperation in isotope products supplies.
